Adults with AS at meetings

Welcome to the forum, electriclight. We don't get a lot of adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders along to our meetings (that is certainly not to say that we don't have some in attendance on occasion without a formal diagnosis). Most of our meetings are held in the Coffs Coast Autism office (see details on the homepage) but if you would like to pop in prior to a meeting for a chat & to familiarise yourself with the surroundings in a less busy atmosphere, feel free to drop in for a cuppa. Our volunteers are all well-versed in AS and would be only too happy to see you. You may be interested also in the presentation coming up at the CWA Hall on Feb 24th (see our homepage for details).

All the best, Lexi.

I'm a bit far from you (in Sacramento, CA USA) but I attend a support groupfor persons over age 18 with Asperger's Syndrome at the UC Davis MIND Institute, and should you ever be in the area you would be more than welcome to stop by.  We usually meet on the second Tuesday of every month from 7 to 9 PM (Pacific Time). A variety of older and younger people attend on a regular basis (I'm 36.)  Information is online at: http://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/mindinstitute/resources/resources_supportgroups.html

You're welcome to contact me directly for anything (I just registered on this forum so I don't know if that feature is available, but if it is by all means use it!)
