Our major raffle, for over $1200 worth of Rydges Resort accommodation, was drawn at our December support meeting. The lucky, and very deserving, winner was Gary Carr with Tonia Fiszcosta drawn as the winner of second prize, an MP3 player, speakers & game controller. Congratulations to our winners and thank you to all those who sold & purchased tickets!

Our sincere thanks go to our guest presenter - Ian McCombie, local Psychologist, who gave a very informative presentation focusing on caring for those with autism, their parents/carers & siblings.

Our Support Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, ordinarily at our office in Park Avenue. During school holidays however, support meetings are held at Boambee Hall, where a fenced, shaded playground is available. If the second Tuesday of the month falls during school holidays, come along and join us from 10am for a relaxing morning.

By popular demand, we hosted another Bloke's NRL Footy night at the Coffs Ex Services Club on May 7th. Australia vs New Zealand with Australia victorious!

For just $10 per head, Dads enjoyed cold drinks, platters of hot food & the exclusive use of the CEX plush boardroom with full waiter service. Just kickin' back &  taking in the game!

A number of Dads stayed on after the event so we are very pleased to have played a role in encouraging new friendships.

Our Annual Autism Awareness Walkathon was held on Sunday, May 23rd with more than 50 walkers in attendance. Overcast skies and a light sprinkle at the commencement of the walk made way for sunny skies and an enjoyable BBQ lunch which was provided for all walkers following the walk.

Special thanks go to all those who came along & walked on the day, bringing sponsorship $ and/or donations with them. Also to Prime Television, Prime Possum, Ranger Tabitha from Tabatinga, NAB and to all those who assisted with organising and working on the day.
