August's support meeting will feature an informal presentation/discussion with Cheryl Donaldson. Cheryl and her husband own a successful local business and are parents to almost enough sons to start their own football team! One of their sons, Sam, has autism. Cheryl will speak candidly about having a child with autism through childhood and beyond. Sam is now in his twenties and continues to offer challenges and joys to his family. Oh What a Night!!Denise Drysdale was a riot as our MC at this year's event. And once again party band, Funky Mustard, had the dance floor jumping!Ticket sales were expected to be down compared with last year's event due to a number of major conflicting events on the same night but sales in the final two weeks saw a good crowd in attendance with over 120 people enjoying the meal, the champagne, the amazing auctions - very capably run by Glenn Aylward of Aylward Auctioneers - and most of all enjoying the company.
