About Us

Coffs Coast Autism is a non-profit organisation run by families coping with Autism for the support of families coping with Autism

It is our Aim to:

• Support and inform Parents and Families who are new to the world of Autism
• Provide ongoing support to Parents and Families
• Share strategies and ideas
• Lobby for Autism Services on the Mid North Coast
• Raise funds for Autism Services on the Mid North Coast
• Inform the greater community about Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Create opportunities for social interaction between Families
• Increase our own capabilities to further support those affected by Autism

Although all parents deal with the news that their child may have an Autism Spectrum Disorder in their own unique way, the one thing that we all have in common is the need for relevant, concise information which is specific not only to Autism but to our regional area. There are so many publications on Autism available, which can often become confusing or difficult to absorb - we would like to share with you what we found the most useful on our collective journeys.

MEETINGS

SUPPORT MEETINGS
We currently meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 10:00am at the Mud Huts, Duke St, Coffs Harbour
(Please phone to confirm if this falls on a public holiday)

Please note that from December 2008 (including Dec meeting) all meetings will be held at our office, 2/34 Park Avenue, Coffs Harbour.
