Amelia is dedicated in the field of child development and has worked in the non-profit sector most of her career. She is passionate about delivering evidence-based family focused interventions. Amelia has experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum from early diagnosis and young ages through to working with adolescents and young adults. She has a special interest in the use of Alternative and Augmentative Communication and technology to enhance the quality of life and opportunities for individuals with special needs. Amelia is passionate about providing the support for children, teenagers and young adults so they have the opportunities to become resilient adults who engage fully in their communities.

 

  

GUEST SPEAKER:

Siobhan Daley

AAC Ambassador

Siobhan Daley is 17 years old and has been using AAC for 13 years. An NDIS AAC Ambassador, Siobhan is currently completing her HSC and has made time to join us via digital media from her home in Newcastle.  Siobhan is preparing a short speech and will also participate in a Q&A session.
