December '09 Support Meeting/Major Raffle Draw

Our major raffle, for over $1200 worth of Rydges Resort accommodation, was drawn at our December support meeting. The lucky, and very deserving, winner was Gary Carr with Tonia Fiszcosta drawn as the winner of second prize, an MP3 player, speakers & game controller. Congratulations to our winners and thank you to all those who sold & purchased tickets!

Our sincere thanks go to our guest presenter - Ian McCombie, local Psychologist, who gave a very informative presentation focusing on caring for those with autism, their parents/carers & siblings. It was especially surprising to many parents in attendance to experience just how beneficial only 3 minutes of meditation can be. Probably the first time they have sat still for a full 3 minutes all year!

Thank you to all those who attended our December Support Meeting. We hope to see you at our January support meeting at Boambee Hall.
