Coffs Coast Autism is a registered charity run entirely by volunteers - families with an individual(s) on the autism spectrum, specifically for the support of other families and individuals.
We are here to help you at all ages and all stages of the autism journey!
Become a member, its free, and we'll keep you up to date with events & activities on the Coffs Coast and neighbouring regions.
Come along to an upcoming event and connect with other families and individuals at our regular Meet & Share session - held in several locations on the coast. We run family support groups, information talks with Q&A's and workshops for parents and carers, and individuals with autism, and we hold awareness, acceptance and other educational opportunities for the wider community. Currently, we are working on plans to re-launch our Youth Group! and Adults with Autism & Asperger's group.
A few times a year, we hold a big event (Autism Awareness Day on April 2nd; Family Fun Day; Family Picnic..) to gather the Coffs Coast Autism community together in an environment that aims to be both entertaining, and relaxing, for the whole family. Yes, thats certainly a tall order but we will do our best to accommodate the needs of all families, including Sensory Friendly Safe Spaces (sensory tools, retreat spaces) and both indoor and outdoor (secure) areas, with activities to suit all ages and abilities.
Let us know how we can continue to improve the supports we provide via our Feedback & Suggestions page.
If you would like to support what we do, consider volunteering for one of our upcoming events, or make a tax deductible donation. Donations are used to fund support group meetings, our annual community events, youth activities, and to purchase resources for our lending library.
We look forward to meeting you!
